Be alert for the unpredicted presence of God
unexpectedly intruding upon your everyday life.

A bowl of sweet strawberries.
Lunch with two special friends.
A ladybug crawling across my bare foot, as I dashed to the mailbox.
A phone call from a long-distance friend with exciting news.
A smile from a stranger.
A sudden rain shower on a sweltering summer day.
Receiving a special thank you note.
Doctors and nurses who truly care.
The fragrance of a rose.
A phone call from my husband just to check on me.
A humorous email from my son.
Hoping your week held a few unexpected and delightful moments!

Thank you so much for stopping by the GreenStitch blog and I appreciate your encouraging comments! Here's to a speedy recovery for you and continued health and happiness!!!
Beautiful post - soooo much to be thankful for!
Such a touching post about appreciating the small things that happen in our daily lives. Beautifully written, Jan.
I am still praying for total healing of your eyes. I struggle to see without my readers & realize that is nothing compared to what you're dealing with. {{Hugs}}
Regarding my non-blooming Morning Glories, I guess my rose fertilizer is the culprit. :( Here, I thought I was helping both. :/
I think I'll move the trellis to the other side next year & NOT give them any fertilizer.
Come see my pretty clutch with wash-away madeira & hand embroidery. :-)
I'm praying for you. So glad I stopped by to visit this morning!
