In our whole life melody the music is broken off here and there by rests, and we foolishly think we have
come to the end of time.
God sends a time of forced leisure, a time of sickeness and disappointed plans, and makes a sudden pause in the hymn of our lives, and we lament that our voice must be silent and our part missing in the music which ever goes up to the ear of our Creator.
Not without design does God write the music of our lives.
Be it ours to learn the time and not be dismayed at the rests.
If we look up, God will beat the time for us.

Dear Jan,
I know you've had a little setback with the healing process. Be patient, relax and soon all will be better.

Hope you are feeling better today. Keeping you in my prayers.
Praying your eyes are back to normal very soon.
Jan, I am so touched by the quotes you post. Especially this one, as I think it can refer to the times in our lives where we feel the silence and rest of events in our lives that we may perceive as the absence of God.........but not so. I continue to pray for your rest in Him.
Hugs, Darby
I've not been on the computer much since I'm still in AZ with my new granddaughter, so I'm behind on reading blogs. I just want you to know that I have been praying daily for you and your recovery. I really hate to see that you've had a little setback. Take care of yourself!
thinking of you Jan and still praying for you!!
One of my favorite songs too! I sing because I'm happy! His eye is still on you! Praying that you'll have a full recovery soon.
