I grabbed all the info I could at the time and it was overwhelming at first. Type 2 diabetes is in my family so I have to be careful too.
Good luck.Kristenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04929308533488145608noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1277919176219197523.post-35743744201231126322010-05-14T09:01:44.620-05:002010-05-14T09:01:44.620-05:00Jan, what a relief to know he has come through thi...Jan, what a relief to know he has come through this episode! I'm sorry about the diabetes diagnosis but hubby has lived with it for 24+ years & still does pretty well.

Be sure to attend all the classes on nutrition that you can get your hands on. I'm sure they've got your DH on anti-clotting meds & several foods, esp. green leafy ones can affect his readings. Lots to learn in a short amt. of time.

Hugs & hang in there!
RettRettabughttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09974677657528087286noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1277919176219197523.post-6005893864223286852010-05-13T19:38:02.072-05:002010-05-13T19:38:02.072-05:00My father had adult onset diabetes. Will still continue to keep him and you in prayer.

My hubby is diabetic with heart problems as well, I think I can feel some of what you feel. Its a lifestyle change we both try to keep. Hubby loves ice cream and some things he should not eat so I do get a bit miffed with him. Overall its a good ride... so to speak.

Please know you have many praying for you both and have somewhat of an idea what you maybe feeling. But with the lords help you will overcome.Tammy@Simple Southern Happinesshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01027582211262125136noreply@blogger.com
