But now I'm wondering if Bernina makes a lace joining foot, because that sounds nice to use as well!Sharonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15007255013334720409noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1277919176219197523.post-26547322491899665532010-07-23T10:07:12.351-05:002010-07-23T10:07:12.351-05:00My favorite foot is my quarter inch foot, also alo...My favorite foot is my quarter inch foot, also along with the straight stitch throat plate. The 1/4" foot I have that has the guard on the right side has an open center. This allows me to move the needle to the far left and do a 3/8" seam allowance and guide it right along the fabric edge, as well as move needle to far right and do a 1/8" seam for that narrow french seam on preemie outfits guideing fabric along the guard. Only other foot I use is a buttonhole foot with a metal tongue and I use it for mini piping. LOVE sewing on my HUSQVARNA #1+. Won't turn it in to upgrade!!! Bought a Babylock Ellure + to use for embroidery now.Auntie Pamhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17022592762139177978noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1277919176219197523.post-71947122381331450772010-07-22T21:36:09.618-05:002010-07-22T21:36:09.618-05:00This comment has been removed by the author.Auntie Pamhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17022592762139177978noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1277919176219197523.post-40920109971763046762010-07-22T19:51:59.511-05:002010-07-22T19:51:59.511-05:00I don't know if my Janome has a 1/4" foot...I don't know if my Janome has a 1/4" foot available but I will look. But my favorite foot is either my 6mm narrow rolled hem foot and my stitch-in-the-ditch foot is a close runner up. I use them constantly.Goosegirlhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10438233253491253506noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1277919176219197523.post-49294061040142646882010-07-22T19:38:37.321-05:002010-07-22T19:38:37.321-05:00That should read "throat" plate LOLThat should read "throat" plate LOLDawnBhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06059456341829472319noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1277919176219197523.post-19555086547274486612010-07-22T19:37:21.068-05:002010-07-22T19:37:21.068-05:00My favorite too, in conjunction with the single ho...My favorite too, in conjunction with the single hole throad plate it makes sewing fine batiste and lace a snapDawnBhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06059456341829472319noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1277919176219197523.post-29736538407647620262010-07-22T09:30:53.655-05:002010-07-22T09:30:53.655-05:00I am with you on this foot Jan, I use it more tha...I am with you on this foot Jan, I use it more than any other foot!!Jeannie B.https://www.blogger.com/profile/05622479618143731970noreply@blogger.com
